John Martin's Retirement

John Martin recently announced his retirement.

He has run the administration of the Athenaeum theatre for over 12 years. During this period the theatre has seen many improvements from new seats to air conditioning plus many works behind the scene which makes the theatre work smoothly and provides an exceptional experience for our patrons. Without John much of this work would not have been done as quickly or as efficiently. John came from a banking background and had a significant experience in I.T. This experience has proved to be of great benefit to the theatre. The management committee of the theatre has worked closely with John, is grateful for his contribution and wishes him a happy retirement. The good news is that he is now eligible to join the committee and has indicated his willingness to do so. He will fill a casual vacancy created by Fiona Carter who was obliged to resign to take over John’s former job.
