10 Lyrebird Awards for ATC

The Lyrebird Awards for 2012 were announced at a ceremony on Saturday 9 March.

Out of nineteen nominations, the ATC gained nine awards, plus one judge's award.

The most awarded ATC production was "The Woman in Black".

In the Drama category it was awarded Best Production, Best Director (Loretta Bishop), Best Actor (Joe Dias), Best Costume(Sylvia Carr and Margaret Bayley), Best Lighting and Best Set(Graham McGuffie) and Best Sound (Geoff Kidd).

Two other awards went to our production of "Glorious" - Best Set in a Comedy (David Dare) and Highly Commended Performance(Donna Pope).

The Judge's award was for "the fast, comical and discreet photo sequence scene in Calendar Girls".
