Lyrebird Judge's Award for ATC
Alan Burrows, Director of the 2010 ATC production of "Same Time Next Year" has received a Lyrebird Judge's Award.
The Award, from judge Bronte Schofield, cited the "creative scene changes using the maid" in "Same Time Next Year." The maid was played by Emily Carter.
Unfortunately, and despite nineteen nominations in many categories (see article below), the ATC received no other awards.
The 1812 Theatre scooped the pool with a grand total of thirteen awards, including Best Production - Comedy for its production of "Almost Maine". The Dandenong Theatre Company received six awards, closely followed by the SLAMS Music Theatre with five.
