2012 Lyrebird nominations

The 2012 Lyrebird Awards will be announced early in March 2012. The Lilydale ATC has received 19 nominations for these Awards, plus one Judge's Award.

The nominations include two for Best Production (Calendar Girls and The Woman in Black) and one Best Director (Loretta Bishop, The Woman in Black).

The Judges award was from Joel Batalha for "the fast, comical and discreet photo sequence scene in Calendar Girls".

The full nomination list is as follows:

  • Best Sound in a Comedy: Roger Forsey, Glorious

  • Best Sound in a Drama: Geoff Kidd, The Woman In Black

  • Best Set in a Comedy: David Dare, Glorious

  • Best Set in a Drama: Graham McGuffie, The Woman In Black

  • Best Lighting in a Comedy: Colin Mortley, Glorious

  • Best Lighting in a Drama: Graham McGuffie, The Woman In Black

  • Best Costume in a Comedy: Sylvia Carr, Glorious

  • Best Costume in a Drama: Sylvia Carr and Margaret Bayley, The Woman In Black

  • Highly Commended Performance in a Drama: Sandy Fowler, Glorious

  • Best Ensemble in a Comedy: Calendar Girls

  • Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy: Christine Bridge, Calendar Girls

  • Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy: Sandy Fowler, Calendar Girls

  • Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy: Jackie Hutchinson, Glorious

  • Best Actress in a Comedy: Wendy McRae, Calendar Girls

  • Best Actor: Joe Dias, The Woman in Black

  • Best Actor: Malcolm Sussman, The Woman in Black

  • Best Director - Drama: Loretta Bishop, The Woman in Black

  • Best Production - Comedy: Calendar Girls
