Kath Hill

It is with sadness that The Athenaeum Theatre Company notes the recent passing of Kath Hill. Kath and her husband John were great supporters of the Theatre. John, who passed away a number of years ago, was one of our trusty band of set builders.

Kath was a major contributor as musical director and pianist for the end of year musicals and musical melodramas, between 1979 and 1988, working closely with Harold and Alan Burrows.

Alan remembers that she was an absolute delight to work with and could always make the music fit his choreography. Kath and family continued to be subscribers of the theatre and she would always delight in the recent musical offerings that Alan directed.

Kath will be missed by us all.
